Being and Time
"Being and Time" is a project about the history of a house and the family who inhabited it.
Structured in two chapters, it weaves together personal narratives and the material traces of domestic life.
The first chapter, Being, was developed in collaboration with the other inhabitants of the house, who were invited to select specific elements of the domestic space to be photographed.
Through this shared process, the project becomes a collective act of remembrance, shaped by individual choices and perspectives.
The second chapter, Time, focuses on the transformations undergone by the domestic environment.
By juxtaposing archival family photographs with contemporary images, it constructs a visual dialogue between past and present, revealing the subtle yet profound ways in which memory, space, and history intertwine.
